Sustainable Technology Academy Who Are We

Beginning in Fall 2011 STA will offer the first semester of courses needed for a student to receive their system mechanic certification.

STA is currently located in the former Middle School in Taylor with courses from Texas State Technical College (TSTC). The courses offered will lead to a certification in Industrial Systems Mechanic. Industrial technology touches every aspect of our lives—impacting products from candies to computers and industries from petrochemical to pharmaceutical. For the uniquely skilled individual who can maintain the variety of devices that support all of these operations, opportunities are unlimited.
